The Tournament

Enjoy PGA TOUR golf at its finest as many of the world’s top golfers compete and earn FedEx Cup points in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, a professional, charitable tournament, benefiting its namesake. The tournament is the fourth event of the PGA TOUR’s FedEx Cup season.

Established in 1983, the Open is held at the beautiful TPC Summerlin, in Las Vegas which has been honored by Golf Digest magazine as “One of America’s Best Golf Courses.” With a purse of $7 million, the event attracts some of the most recognized names in golf each year – Tiger Woods took home his inaugural PGA TOUR win here in 1996. Past Open tournament champions include Fuzzy Zoeller, Greg Norman, Davis Love III, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Webb Simpson and in 2018, Bryson DeChambeau.

With an outstanding field of players and the opportunity to support Shriners Hospitals for Children, this is a world-class golf event you don’t want to miss.

Shriners Hospitals for Children

Shriners Hospitals for Children, the sponsor and benefactor of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, is an international pediatric health care system with 22 locations in North America, national and international outreach programs and an extensive telehealth network that extends the system’s expertise of care to rural communities and other locations, closer to home. Proceeds from the tournament support the health care system and its mission to improve the lives of children.

Many Shriners Hospitals for Children patients, including the system’s national patient ambassadors and 22 representatives from each hospital/clinic location, attend the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. These patients will inspire you and take your attendance to a whole new level as you hear their stories of strength and accomplishment and see them walk alongside players as standard bearers, carrying score boards.
