The Shriners Children’s Open is hosted at TPC Summerlin, home of Tiger Woods’ first professional victory. With its innovative design, gorgeous natural scenery and outstanding championship layout, this award-winning, PGA TOUR quality Las Vegas course is a favorite among golf’s top competitors and enthusiasts.

TPC Summerlin’s list of recognitions include being honored by Golf Digest as “One of America’s Best Golf Courses” and named by Nevada Business Magazine as the “#1 Private Golf Course in Nevada” in 2006. It was also ranked No. 39 in Golf World’s 2012 PGA TOUR’s Course Ranking issue among the TOUR venues the pros like to play.

Designed by renowned golf course architect Bobby Weed, with Fuzzy Zoeller serving as a player consultant, Summerlin’s par-72, 7,243-yard layout was built for the pros. During the construction of the course, great care was also taken to preserve and protect the natural wildlife habitats of the location’s rocky desert environment. In fact, TPC Summerlin was the first golf course in Nevada to be certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System by Audubon International.
